A Note on Wildlife

To open this specific bear-proof bin, you need to use a "pinch and lift" technique:
- The Mechanism: Place your fingers inside the two slots on the black latch.
- The Action: Pinch the internal tabs together while simultaneously lifting the lid with your other hand.
Not so great when you have trash in your hand!
Always use the bear-proof bin on the side of the porch!
